Scope
Scoping fee, credited to the build
A written spec, architecture, and a fixed quote.
- Walkthrough of your idea or prototype
- Written spec and architecture
- Fixed quote for the build
- Fee credited to the build if you proceed
MB—02Pricing
We scope first, write the spec down, and quote against it. You know the number before we write a line of code, and anything outside the spec is a change order you approve first.
§01The model
Scoping fee, credited to the build
A written spec, architecture, and a fixed quote.
Fixed price, quoted from your spec
Your product in production, with tests, monitoring, and docs.
Monthly retainer
Maintenance, small enhancements, and on-call for incidents.
§02Your quote
What shapes the number
How much the product has to do: the users, workflows, and data behind it, and what it has to connect to.
Whether we start from an idea, a working prototype, or an existing product we're extending.
Whether you want us to keep it running after launch, and whether it lives in your cloud or ours.
What we build
A standalone application with its own users and data. A new platform or a full rebuild, done to a standard your board can trust.
A workflow or back-office system built around how your team actually works, so you stop forcing off-the-shelf tools to almost fit.
New features for software you already run, a modernization, or a prototype hardened so it's ready for real users.
§03Hosting
Option A
Your product runs in your own cloud account. You pay the infrastructure bill directly, and we set it up and operate it. It's the right choice when you want full ownership of the environment or have compliance requirements.
Option B
You get a working product without thinking about infrastructure. We run it in our environment, and one retainer covers hosting, monitoring, and maintenance.
AI is how we work. What you're buying is production-grade software with a person accountable for it. Every change is reviewed and merged by a senior engineer, verification gates run before anything reaches a human, and a named person owns your engagement from the first call through launch and beyond.
When AI cuts build time, hourly billing hands every bit of that efficiency straight back to the clock, and you're left carrying the risk of overruns. We scope first, write the spec down, and quote a fixed price against it. Anything outside the spec is handled as a change order you approve before we start it.
Yes, and it's often the best way to start. A working prototype tells us more than a document would. We walk through it with you, keep what works, and build the production version around it: auth, data integrity, monitoring, security, and tests.
No. You walk us through the idea or prototype once, on a call or in a recorded demo. We draft the spec from that, and then we spend 15 minutes with you on what's still unclear. You get a written spec and a fixed quote in about a week.
Your choice. We can run it in your own cloud account, where you pay the infrastructure bill and we operate it, or host it for you so you never have to think about infrastructure. We'll recommend one during scoping.
You do. The product we build for you is yours. Our internal delivery tooling stays ours, and that's written into the contract from day one.

An idea, a napkin sketch, a prototype an AI tool built for you last weekend, or a system that's outgrown itself. Tell us about it in a few minutes and a person will get back to you within two business days.
