AI-powered. Human-piloted.

Moonbound is a product studio for whatever you need off the ground: a new product, an existing one, or an internal tool. AI gets us there fast. Expert engineers make sure it's done right the first time, on a foundation you can keep building on.

§01The gap

Anyone can build a demo. Mission-critical is another story.

Anyone can make a product demo in Claude Code or ChatGPT, and everyone should be using these tools right now. But the demo isn't the hard part. Software your business depends on needs real expertise behind it.

Moving an organization forward is harder still: the new thing has to fit how your team works, and it can't break what already runs.

§02Flight plan

Scope it. Build it. Keep it running.

Every engagement has the same shape. You tell us what you want, we scope and quote it, we build it, and if you want, we keep it running.
  1. 01

    Scope

    About a week

A written spec, architecture, and a fixed quote.

Walk us through your idea or prototype on a call or a recorded demo. We analyze it, draft the spec and estimate, then settle the open questions on a 15-minute call with a person.

FeeScoping fee, credited to the build

  2. 02

    Build

    Weeks, not quarters

Your product in production, with tests, monitoring, and docs.

Agents write, review, and test code in parallel against the spec. Senior engineers set the architecture, approve every plan, merge every change, and fix what the agents get wrong.

FeeFixed price, quoted from your spec

  3. 03

    Run

    Ongoing, optional

Maintenance, small enhancements, and on-call for incidents.

Monitoring and first-pass incident diagnosis run around the clock. A named person fixes the problem and decides when to bring you in.

    FeeMonthly retainer

§03Why us

Every shop says they use AI. We built the business around it.

  • A

    Priced on outcome, not hours

When AI cuts build time, hourly billing just means you pay for fewer hours and still carry the risk of overruns. We quote a fixed price against a written spec, so you know the number before we start.

  • B

    A delivery system that compounds

We run on AI tooling we build and improve on every engagement. Build six is faster and better than build one, and our clients get the benefit.

  • C

    A person accountable, always

A senior person you trust owns your engagement. Agents carry the workload, and a person reviews everything before it reaches you and joins any conversation about money, scope, or trust.

§04Personalized software

Stop living with tools that almost fit.

Plenty of businesses run on a pile of off-the-shelf tools stacked on top of each other, with glue and workarounds holding it together. AI now makes it economical to build software that does exactly what your business needs, and nothing it doesn't.

§05What we build

New, existing, or internal. If it matters, we build it.

Anything you need AI-plus-human expertise to accelerate. Every build gets one fixed quote from a written spec.

Class A

New product

A standalone application with its own users and data. A new platform or a full rebuild, done to a standard your board can trust.

  • Customer-facing platforms
  • Marketplaces and portals
  • Rebuilds of legacy systems

Class B

Internal tool

A workflow or back-office system built around how your team actually works, so you stop forcing off-the-shelf tools to almost fit.

  • Ops and fulfillment systems
  • Admin consoles
  • Reporting and approvals

Class C

Existing product

New features for software you already run, a modernization, or a prototype hardened so it's ready for real users.

  • Auth, billing, and roles
  • Integrations
  • Prototype hardening

Who's behind Moonbound.

We're former founders and engineers who love building with AI. We've been on your side of the table, and we built the studio we wish we could have hired.

§07Questions

The honest answers.

Something we didn't cover? hello@moonbound.studio

  • AI is how we work. What you're buying is production-grade software with a person accountable for it. Every change is reviewed and merged by a senior engineer, verification gates run before anything reaches a human, and a named person owns your engagement from the first call through launch and beyond.

  • When AI cuts build time, hourly billing hands every bit of that efficiency straight back to the clock, and you're left carrying the risk of overruns. We scope first, write the spec down, and quote a fixed price against it. Anything outside the spec is handled as a change order you approve before we start it.

  • Yes, and it's often the best way to start. A working prototype tells us more than a document would. We walk through it with you, keep what works, and build the production version around it: auth, data integrity, monitoring, security, and tests.

  • No. You walk us through the idea or prototype once, on a call or in a recorded demo. We draft the spec from that, and then we spend 15 minutes with you on what's still unclear. You get a written spec and a fixed quote in about a week.

  • Your choice. We can run it in your own cloud account, where you pay the infrastructure bill and we operate it, or host it for you so you never have to think about infrastructure. We'll recommend one during scoping.

  • You do. The product we build for you is yours. Our internal delivery tooling stays ours, and that's written into the contract from day one.
